1. Registration and Payment

• Your registration is binding, and by paying, you're entering into an agreement with Malmö Marathon.
• Your starting spot is personal and can only be transferred to someone else for an administration fee of 195 SEK.
• If you switch from the marathon to the half marathon, there's a 95 SEK administration fee. If you switch from the half marathon to the marathon, you'll pay a 95 SEK administration fee plus the price difference.

2. Refunds and Cancellations

• You can cancel your Malmö Marathon registration within 24 hours of completing your payment. After this time, your registration is binding, and the entry fee won't be refunded, as the right of withdrawal doesn't apply to sports events according to the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, section 12.
• Your registration can't be moved to a future year.
• If the race gets cancelled because of things out of Malmö Marathon's hands (like force majeure), we won't be able to refund your registration fee.
• We can't offer compensation if you can't make it to the race because of things like travel restrictions or quarantine.
• Malmö Marathon reserves the right to tweak the course and start time after chatting with the City of Malmö.

3. Taking Part and Your Responsibility

• Remember, you participate at your own risk. Malmö Marathon isn't responsible for any injuries to people, or damage to technical gear or personal belongings.
• We recommend getting the Startklar insurance, which covers Swedish long-distance races.
• You're responsible for making sure you're fit enough to complete the race, and it's up to you to decide if you are.
• Malmö Marathon might have to stop a participant's race if they don't stay within the maximum allowed time.

4. Your Personal Info and How It's Used

• By signing up, you agree that your name, club/company, and race times can be published on our website and social media.
• You also agree that photos and videos from the event, which might feature you, can be used for Malmö Marathon's marketing without any compensation.This includes third parties like (but not limited to) our sponsors and partners.
• Your personal data is handled according to RaceID's privacy policy.

5. Force Majeure

• Malmö Marathon isn't responsible if the race gets cancelled due to things beyond our control, like fires, floods, natural disasters, strikes, government decisions, or widespread infections. If the race is called off for any of these reasons (force majeure), we won't be able to refund your registration fee.

6. How We Communicate

• You'll get a registration confirmation via email. If anything looks wrong in it, please get in touch with us at info@malmomarathon.se.
• We reserve the right to correct any printing or typing errors, and we can't guarantee availability once spots are sold out.

By signing up for Malmö Marathon, you're agreeing to all these terms and conditions.
